There is much to attend to after the engagement. The weapons must be cleaned and evening food prepared. This is good time for the public to engage us in discussion as to how the particular re-enactment relates to the historical event some 230 years before.

After all remnants of the meal are put away, it is time to relax. In the evening under the cook fly, we spend our time in conversation. Our exploits are embellished as the night goes one. We even amaze ourselves at times. Later there are songs, stories and tunes. Each evening seems to be different as we are influenced by the events of the day.
